Forge Chapel
Our Service room, 'Forge chapel' offers a serene and calming environment in which to hold an intimate service.
An alternative venue for when the Crematorium is too big, unavailable or simply not
right for the service you wish to arrange. With seating up to 21 people there is no time pressure, and a
funeral can take place within the normal 10-14 days (subject to availability at crematorium).
Our fully air-conditioned service room with modern lighting, offers a music system and a TV screen for displaying a slideshow of favourite family photographs which adds a moving and personal tribute.
20 personalised order of service booklets are also included.
Alternative Venues
If however, you're looking for something a little different, we believe a private cremation is one of the most flexible options for families who want to arrange a more personal and bespoke funeral. By separating the funeral ceremony from the cremation process means that you are not limited by the timescales of the crematorium and you are free to arrange a ceremony at a more fitting location and without strict time limits.
You may choose to hold a more intimate or informal gathering at our service chapel or in your own garden,
or a large gathering at an alternative location, such as Southlands Barns or at Cissbury barns or House in Findon which enables you to have the funeral service followed by refreshments all in one place.
There are many venues now available, so it really is up to you to decide, where suits you best.

A truly tranquil and serene venue for funeral ceremonies and receptions. Set high on the Downs and completely shielded by woodlands, but under one mile from Worthing Crematorium and Durrington Cemetery, it is a unique and flexible space to spend time with family and friends. Services held at the barns will be followed by a private cremation at Worthing Crematorium.
The Barns will be exclusively yours for 3.5 hours . They can accommodate from 30 to 200 guests for a funeral service followed by a funeral reception afterwards and from 10 to 120 guests for a funeral service only. They offer a range of catering options and a fully licensed bar service.

Exclusive hire: £499.00 including VAT for 3.5 hours.
Each additional hour or part hour is charged at £80.00.
Funeral Service and Wake Reception together
Exclusive hire: £599.00 including VAT for the
East and West Barns, private bar, walled gardens
for 3.5 hours.
